One vase, from the first line to the glazed piece.

Form
A profile and a few rules become a solid.
Layers
The solid is split into layers, each one a path for the robot.
Weave
On the curves the path oscillates and interlaces, to the millimetre.
The robot lays the clay bead, layer after layer.
Firing
The piece dries, shrinks and turns to bisque in the kiln.
Glazes
Colour arrives by brush and settles into the valleys of the weave.
- Copper green
- Cobalt blue
- Milk white
Finishes
Then fire decides part of the result.
- Obvara: dipped red-hot into a yeast bath
- Raku: crackle in the white
- Drip: the glaze runs and stops
The piece
From digital to the real piece, from the same angle.
